[19 Sep 2008|03:25pm] i just finished five weeks of travel through Asia.  Japan (Tokyo, Kyoto, Mishima), Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand (Bangkok, Phuket), Cambodia (Siem Reap, Phnom Penh), and Vietnam (Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City). I'm in camp now.  My door is open and I see punching bags.  The ring is ten feet from my room.  Kids get excited about things so easily.  Going to Disneyland or Chuck E Cheese was fun, exciting.  As an adult I don't feel that type of anticipation - even going to Angkor Wat was good, but not Disneyland exciting.  I put on my shin guards, 12 oz gloves, and muay thai shorts.  I have no idea what's going on.  I think I'm going to get my ass kicked.  There are whistles, high rpm music, and lots of sounds of impact all around me.  It is Disneyland. 1 comment|give a thought
